Personal Details:

In 2012, I graduated from Ashbourne School in London, then following a summer break, I enrolled to University of Edinburgh. I have often searched to diversify my interests in the multiple fields of sciences, but often enough it was hard to collaborate between many different schools and their seminars. That's when EUYSRA answered my desires.

A collaboration of different schools of sciences with weekly lectures from professors and students of various background. The society has allowed me to meet students who had their own aspirations and inspirations, sharing ideas and being inquisitive about sciences. Furthermore, the society has allowed to set up your own experiments, promoting collaboration between schools. A good example was when schools of biomedicine and engineers once attempted to design bionic prosthetics. The interdepartmental meetings were also useful, as students from years above could help you with contacting the right people around university, and navigating around university. All in all, the society has been a good experience so far, and I believe it will only get better.
