All EUYSRA activities are undertaken with the aim of broadening and strengthening the scientific student community to enable multi field understanding and appreciation, as well as catalysing youth scientific innovation through peer assessed and peer conducted research.

The Weekly Main Meeting
On every Wednesday during the academic year, EUYSRA holds its general meeting which presents all manners of scientific and technological seminars delivered by top researchers and academics of the University (the talk is presented in laymans terms so that everyone regardless of background can appreciate the topic). The meeting is concluded with the trade mark debate "Principia Scientifica" where two students will argue two sides of a predetermined topic.
"I was struck by the Association's vibrancy and dynamism, and especially its ability to attract large audiences."
Professor Colin Pulham
"It is clear to me that this new and somewhat unusual society is already an asset to the University."
Professor Jim Dunlop
"I was impressed by how they have motivated themselves to become involved in and discuss research while still at the undergraduate stage."
Professor Ian J. Deary
"EUYSRA should be proud of this event that was the highlight of the year for many of those attending and for those of us taking part."
