This year's EUYSRA Interdisciplinary Student Conference 2016 was a success again! Thanks for everyone who presented and participated, and congratulations to our Poster winner Naums Mogers with "The Sensor Organism", and our Best Talk winners Viktoria Bajuszova, Azzurra De Pace, Ash Saggu, and Maria Zarocsinceva with the project "Reproductive Rate of Daphnia Magna Feeding on Different Species of Algae"!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Conference brought together students from around the world who are passionate about science and are considering a career in scientific research. The Conference continues the work of the EUYSRA, a student-run society for the scientifically curious undergraduates, wishing to broaden their horizons and gain valuable experience in original and degree independent research. Together with the staff from the Edinburgh University, we planned an inspirational programme in true Scottish tradition.

 

The price of this year's Conference for the best Poster was the Nobel Prize winning Higgs Boson prediction paper signed by none other than Professor Peter Higgs himself! The prize for the best talk was a picture of Professor Higgs signed by himself again!
