Position Details:

It is the duty of the department head to help individuals or groups to formulate their idea for a research proposition by helping them prepare their presentation to be given to the society, all done within the department meeting which the head will chair and organize. It is also the department heads responsibility to assist any members of his/her department to prepare any presentation which that member wishes to give to the society. The department head is the one who brings forward the research proposals to the Head of Research who in turn informs the secretary of all research applications.

Personal Details:

After finishing International Baccalaureate I have studied for a year in Poland and afterwards decided to move to and study in Edinburgh. I have joined the EUYSRA just a few months after it started and immediately fell in love with it.

I was happy that I could take part in research, even if it was just basic research that could be done on undergraduate level. I took part in one project and was a project leader of another. And despite not so promising results, I was still happy that I could do something more than what my course requires.

My main area of interest is biotechnology and all connected to it, and the main goal I would have in research is using the results in real life application.
