Personal Details:
Edinburgh is a fantastic place to study and this society makes it even better! As the chairman I hope that I can assist the current committee to make the society even better than it already is. I am 22 years old and came to do my whole degree here in Edinburgh. Not that there are no good universities at home but since I always wanted a career in research, it was important to get an international background and Edinburgh seemed perfect with its great reputation. Although I am planning to do my future work in theoretical Physics, it is important not to forget about the experimental side of Physics, which is the only way to proof any theory. Last year I was the head of the physics department of the society and I can say that the society is the perfect place to meet like-minded people and learn about any area of science you are interested in. If I am not studying I enjoy reading books, cooking and doing lots of different sports
